When she leaned back in a second time, the dog attacked and latched on to her face. The dog's owner, who was sitting just feet away, was filmed jumping up to check on the woman. As other patrons tended to the injured woman, the owner scrambled to collect her belongings and fled the restaurant with the dog. Police said the woman had to be treated in hospital for eye injuries and underwent plastic surgery to her face. Doctors say the woman is expected to regain vision in her injured eye.
