2025 CC - The 11th Airborne Division: America's Angels

The 11th Airborne Division "Angels" have always stood apart as an elite unit within the United States Army. First activated in 1943, the Angels fought against tyranny in World War II in the Pacific Theater, leaving a legacy of courage, service and sacrifice that echoes through the halls of history. Today our Arctic Angels execute expeditionary operations worldwide, conduct Multi-Domain Operations in the Indo-Pacific theater and the Arctic, and on order decisively will defeat any adversary in extreme cold weather, mountainous and high-latitude environments through large scale combat operations. The audio for this video is the Division's iconic theme, "DOWN FROM HEAVEN", in this case sung by Angels of the then-187th Parachute Infantry Regiment, a unit within the 11th Airborne in 1950 prior to their departure to fight in Korea during the Korean War. This video shows that the professionalism, dedication, discipline, teamwork, loyalty, strength and courage of the Angels has never wavered.
