As the years passed, the estate ended up with its last owner, James. He was not immensely wealthy and liked a simpler lifestyle, eventually becoming a mechanist, building and repairing equipment, primarily for breweries. He lived a simple life, but kept things running, keeping the land and houses maintained, as well as his beloved car, which is still sitting in front of the house to this day.
