In this POV review, I'm taking the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 for a 1,200 km roadtrip to Le Mans. The GT63 is the ultimate AMG grand tourer (as the name already suggests). Elegant coupe lines and a long bonnet to house that mighty 4 liter bi-turbo V8 engine, with a powerful roar from the quad exhaust. There's 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with rear-wheel steering, a 9-speed automatic transmission and a surprising average fuel consumption on those long drives. At the same time this car provides all the luxury you'd expect from a true GT: a beautiful interior with massaging seats and loads of storage space, an epic Burmester sound system, all the driving assist systems in the world and now also the option to add rear seats, making it a 2+2 seater.
