One of my most requested videos is finally here - a Disney Parks Makeup Tutorial! I generally do my makeup for Disneyland pretty similarly to how I do my makeup in Seattle, but I definitely had to use different techniques when I visited Florida in January! This tutorial is more geared towards someone who is visiting Walt Disney World from somewhere that doesn't have a similar climate (aka not as humid). After living in Florida for a while my skin had adjusted to the climate, but if you're visiting as a guest you likely won't be there long enough to adjust. It had been several years since I visited, so I waited to make this video until I had recent experience doing my makeup there. The first day at Disney World I did my makeup how I used to (when I worked there) and it did not wear well at all! 😂 It was settling into my fine lines and just looked like it had sat on my face for 20 hours, instead of only 5. Throughout the week I played around with it and figured out how to make my makeup last all day, without it looking like I had worn it for 10-15 hours. This Disney Parks makeup tutorial mainly focuses on the skin (foundation, concealer, setting powder, etc.) but I also share some tips for how I do my eye makeup - hint hint it involves a bold eyeliner. I like to wear a bolder eye look that really makes your eyes pop in pictures (because if you're like me, you'll be taking a lot of photos on your trip!).
