Don't Believe by Genshen... this track was featured on Genshen's debut EP 'Someplace Else' released in 2002/2003. The song garnered lots of airplay on Australia's national radio network TripleJ. The EP polled at #4 in the Australian Independent Charts (AIR). This clip was made by the amazing Liz Norman. The song shows the band's guitar-pop side and the band's affection for prominent synth lines. This video was broadcast on a number of Australian television music video shows. http://www.genshen.net/ Genshen were an Australian indie synth-pop-rock group that formed in the year 2001. They were catapulted to national recognition during early 2003 through extensive national television and radio exposure resulting from the success of their hit song “Nothing Quite Like This” taken from the band’s debut EP “Someplace Else”, polling in the Top 5 of National Independent Charts. This was on the back of the release of their debut single “Love is on the Radio” which saw them selected as an Exposed Artist on national broadcaster TripleJ. The group was an ARIA nominated independent group who had been described as a cross between Joy Division and The Killers and 'one of the best live acts in the country'. Their video clips were equally popular with the band being voted best buzz clip on ABC's Fly TV Saturday morning program, polling at #7 on ABC's Popsui Charts, and playlisted on national music channels MTV, RAGE and CHANNEL V. Genshen also performed live on national music television television programs such as Network Ten's Pepsi Live and on Video Hits. Genshen proved themselves early in the live arena by achieving the status of finalist in the Queensland Rock Awards. Genshen have now established themselves as “…one of the best new live acts on the Australian scene…” (Revolver) with their impressive live shows. With over two years of extensive touring and performing experience they have crafted a high-energy, fun and professional stage show. They toured and performed with a wide array of nationally recognised musical acts such as Pete Murray, The Panics, Sarah Blasko, Good Shirt, 28 Days, Waikiki, Gaslight Radio, The Cruel Sea, Gersey and many more.
