Ian Parks served five years in the United States Air Force and while fighting for his country he jumped into the IT space to work as a system administrator. Then and now, Ian has always made time to work with teenagers in his community. He has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, The Boys and Girls Club and several other organizations involved in youth development. With over fifteen years of experience working with teens, Ian released his first book, Gap Year, which encourages teens to reach their full potential in life. Additionally, in 2016 he founded his nonprofit - After School Special - which focuses on restoring self love, compassion and social skills within teens as well as help them to pursue their purpose in life.
