In this video, we discuss the difference between indications and contraindications for massage therapy. An indication is a "thumbs up," or it's an "okay," for massage therapy services! A contraindication is a "red flag," or it's a "NOT okay," for massage therapy services! In this video I will give explains on a few of these, as well as quick review at the end where I will test your knowledge on whether the example is an indication or contraindication for massage therapy services. It is very important that we understand the difference between the two before we go into the MBLEx. The MBLEx will have 17 out of 100 questions that may cover material like this... Remember that 17% of the MBLEx content will cover Client Assessment, Reassessment & Treatment Planning. So make sure you know this material! As always feel free to reach out to me with any questions concerning this material, my email is in the about me section of this YouTube channel...
