Ep. 15 - "Big Brown Bag" Snow Globe Repair - Brown Water, Large Air Bubble, and Cracked Glass

Today we restore a large snow globe honoring Bloomingdale's and New York City. Apparently, Bloomingdale's is know for its iconic brown bags that they put the customer's purchases in. Printed on the side of each bag are the words "Big Brown Bag", "Medium Brown Bag", or "Small Brown Bag". This globe features a Big Brown Bag in the center, surrounded by New York landmarks. We're not sure how old this piece is but we believe it is at least 20 years old since it includes the World Trade Center. This globe was missing water and the water that remained was brown. During the installation of the figurine the globe cracked and we had to find another globe to use for parts. In the end it we got it all fixed up.
