Dramatic Moment Ukrainian Naval Drones Hit Russian “Shadow Fleet” Tankers

Ukrainian naval drones have struck two Russian oil tankers in the Black Sea, targeting part of Moscow’s “shadow fleet” used to evade sanctions. The tankers, Kairos and Virat, were hit in separate locations using Ukraine’s domestically developed “Sea Baby” naval drones. Turkish authorities say the #Kairos was struck in the south-west Black Sea, while the #Virat was hit around 35 nautical miles further east. The attack comes after a Russian missile strike on #Kyiv that killed at least three people and wounded eight. Meanwhile, President Volodymyr #Zelensky says a Ukrainian delegation led by top security official Rustem #Umerov is heading to the US for further peace talks, following the resignation of former lead negotiator Andriy Yermak. The team is set to meet US officials in Florida, while Trump’s overseas envoy Steve Witkoff is expected in Moscow next week.
