In this video, I take my Canon R6 Mark II and 17–40mm wide-angle lens to a local woodland to capture the colours of autumn. It’s October, the leaves are turning, and I’m on a relaxed walk looking for great compositions — no pressure, just enjoying photography in nature. I photograph autumn leaves, trees, and forest light, and even find what appears to be the oldest tree in the woods. Along the way, I share a few tips on autumn woodland photography, including how to make the most of colour, light, and depth. Things take an odd turn, though — I stumble across evidence of something strange deep in the woods… possibly signs of a sinister cult?!
