The Hi-Fi as it's known is a pressure and release type of the system that creates what's known as osteo stabilization, meaning that the bone within the patient's residual limb is stabilized because we have areas of pressure and areas of release and the muscles actually help hold the patient's limb in a better position so that the prosthesis is more stable more part of you. And the way this imager works is the patient's able to be casted in place so you get a feeling of how this is going to feel even before the prosthesis is created. The high fidelity interface has several advantages, number one being the stabilization of the limb within the prosthesis that makes it so that when you're using your prosthetic device it's more part of you you're able to control it better and feel that you're getting a better result. More fit and function out of your prosthesis. There's also lower trim lines so it is more comfortable. Once we've captured this shape we then take the cast and either fill it or transition it to one of our computer assisted designs and digitize it and then complete the check socket process and get you fit as fast as possible.
