Video review for Kingbolen Elite Diagnostic tool • How to Solve DTC Errors and Perform Mainte... Kingbolen Elite Diagnostic tool (check car compatibility before buying) : 🔗 Amazon: https://amzn.to/3IfCvBK Hey friends! In this episode, I’m going to show you how I diagnosed and fixed a fairly common error found in Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles with common rail engines. DTC: P0088 FUEL RAIL/SYSTEM PRESSURE TOO HIGH P0087 FUEL RAIL/SYSTEM PRESSURE TOO LOW P1065 FUEL PRESSURE REGULATION - CONTROL DIFFERENCE The most common high-pressure system errors are now displayed on the screen. I’d say that in about 70% of cases — if not more — the cause is either the fuel pressure regulator ( N276 ) on the rail or the pressure sensor ( G247 ). For the remaining 30% of cases, I recommend starting by checking the injectors, then the pressure regulator ( N290 ) on the high-pressure pump, the in-tank fuel pump, or even the fuel filter — especially if it hasn't been replaced in a while. The last thing to rule out would be the high-pressure pump itself, which obviously involves a much more expensive repair. For DTC P0087 first test injectors return flow.
