This video showcases the process of disassembling a Nikon D5300 camera to enable a full spectrum modification. This modification enhances the camera's capabilities for astrophotography, infrared photography, and ultraviolet photography. The video serves as a comprehensive tutorial, demonstrating the step-by-step removal of the camera's components and filters. The stock filter is removed leaving the sensor 'naked'. Don't worry, it's still covered by a protective clear glass. By undergoing this modification, the camera gains the ability to capture a broader range of light, including wavelengths that are normally invisible to the human eye. Please be aware that it is necessary to calibrate the sensor position after the modification has been completed. Otherwise the sensor may become tilted and not parallel to the lens mounting flange. With the D5300, the sensor should be pushed down by 0.24mm. I recommend to use JIS screwdrivers, Phillips screwdrivers may strip screws easily.
