This is a Crown Loft Suite, I misspoke in the intro and called it a “Grand Loft Suite”, but this is indeed a Crown Loft Suite. In this video I do a full walkthrough tour of the Crown Loft Suite onboard the Harmony of the seas! I will also show how all 4 of us slept comfortably in this room and our set-up of how we arrange both a trundle roll-away bed and what the couch turned into a bed looks like. We had the honor and privilege of staying in this room on our latest cruise vacation for our kids' Spring Break from school. This is our third time on this ship and each time we have tried out different rooms! The first time we stayed in a standard ocean view balcony, the second we stayed in a grand suite, and the third the crown loft suite. This is by far our favorite room we have stayed in to date and was such a fun experience. We loved how spacious it was and that it offered enough room for our family of 4. We also enjoyed that it had 2 bathrooms and more than enough storage space and outlets in the room, which are both a rare commodity in standard cruise rooms. This room is a far cry from how we originally sailed when we were staying in interior state rooms and boy let me tell you, each time you choose to try out on of the upgrades you see why they are so popular and worth the cost if you can afford it. Another way that you can upgrade your room through Royal Caribbean is by participating in one of their Royal Up offers. Royal Up offers allow you to bid how much you would be willing to pay for the room, with a set minimum, of course. This is by no means a guarantee that you will win the offer but can be quite the fun surprise when it does happen. The Grand Suite and the Crown Loft Suite have their similarities and also are quite different as well. The Grand Suites are all on one floor (which can be nice for those who prefer not to have stairs in your room, especially if traveling with very small children) however they only have 1 bathroom and less space. That is it! This past cruise we had 4 carry-on’s (one for each person) and 3 backpacks. We pack our own snorkel gear and a bunch of my camera equipment and still end up with more than enough room, plus this time I even overpacked a little and brought a few pieces of clothing I never even used.
