A shocking case from Belagavi’s Malmaruti police jurisdiction has exposed a disturbing privacy and blackmail scandal involving a female officer and her colleague. The incident came to light after the officer discovered 8 hidden cameras installed in her house, including inside a bulb holder, allegedly to capture her private moments. The accused officer, identified as Vinod T, reportedly planted the hidden cameras as part of a revenge plot. Sources claim Vinod was upset after the female officer opposed his transfer and allegedly held a grudge against her. In a calculated move, he reportedly placed the cameras in the bulb holder and other locations inside her home to secretly record her. To make matters worse, Vinod allegedly used fake journalist identity cards and tried to manipulate the victim. It is believed that he planned to blackmail her using the recorded videos and even used the money obtained for building a house. After police investigation, Vinod was produced before a judge and remanded to jail.
