We will be ranking every Mario Kart track from the original Super Mario Kart. It may be the first game, but does it stand the test of time or fall flat with age? The developers did a lot of experiments when designing the courses, which means that some had better designs than others. Finding the best course from Super Mario Kart was not an easy task, but I believe that this game had a lot of interesting ideas for better and for worse. The best Mario Kart courses are the ones that fit best with its unique mechanics. The worst Mario Kart courses were the ones that either had bad ideas on paper or didn't have any ideas at all. With Mario Kart World announced for the Nintendo Switch 2, I thought now would be a good time to start ranking every Mario Kart course throughout the entire series. From the original Super Mario Kart to the long-lasting titan that is modern Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, every Mario Kart course has something to offer, for better or for worse.
