In this video we take an old vintage Shimano XT mountain bike wheel hub, Strip it down and re-grease the inner ball bearings. The hub was feeling a bit rough when spinning and you can see why once its being cleaned out. Plenty of dirt, sludge and old grease... The wheel that this hub is part of, will also be on a future video having a full exterior refurb. We also have a video of this wheel rim being trued back in to shape. The Shimano M737 wheel hub was from 1984 and it was a high end component of the time. Shimano is one of the best known manufacturers for cycling and has a reputation for making quality products. - I hope you enjoy the video.
