Here is an indebth look at the mysterious "Darken Mode" for perfect, quick and easy "Window Pulls" Remember, Darken Mode is simply a concept, when you over expose something in Darken Mode it will not show up when masking in a darker exposure, this being the window view. As mentioned I point my flash directly at the window and usually I only need 1/4 or half power from a speedlight as I am pointing it directly at the area I want to over expose.
