Re-uploaded in honor of the film's 20th anniversary. From the Rios Disney VHS collection. The closing is new to my channel. (Boundin' short film edited out due to copyright) Distributor: Walt Disney Home Entertainment [Pixar Animation Studios / Buena Vista Home Entertainment] | Very rare VHS pressing [at this point, the format was starting the end of its life cycle, with this being the last official Pixar VHS release, see below for more info] | Tape print date: January 26, 2005 | Release date: March 15, 2005 | Catalog number: 36425 Synopsis: While trying to lead a quiet suburban life, a family of undercover superheroes are forced into action to save the world. Opening: 1. Blue warning screens (later version) 2. 2001 Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo (regular blue variant) 3. "Coming Soon to Theaters" bumper 4. Cars teaser trailer (It's wild that this was the closet Cars has ever been shown on a mainstream VHS release, because as many Disney fans and VHS collectors have pointed out, the movie WAS released on the VHS format in 2007 -- except it was exclusive to the Disney Movie Club program for a very limited time. So seeing Cars in this quality seems other-worldly lol) 5. Chicken Little teaser trailer (Not well-received at the time of release and forced Disney to re-structure their Feature Animation division, it has gotten a bit of a cult following over time) 6. "Coming Soon to Own on DVD & Video" bumper 7. Cinderella: Special Edition video trailer 8. Lilo & Stitch: Stitch has a Glitch video trailer 9. 2001 Feature Presentation bumper (of the handful of Animated Feature releases to use this, this was the only Pixar video release to have it) 10. Boundin' (2003) short film [start & end only, entire short film edited out for the reason listed above] 11. 1995 Walt Disney Pictures logo [the CGI Pixar castle] 12. 1995 Pixar Animation Studios logo Closing: 1. End of the credits (hearing Michael Giacchino's iconic, adrenaline-fueled score for this movie is always a treat) 2. 1995 Walt Disney Pictures logo (again) 3. 1995 Pixar Animation Studios logo (again)
