In 2025, Southern Railway 6133 celebrated its 75th birthday, having been built in May 1950 by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors. She served her whole career on the Southern, pulling both freight and passenger trains, as seen in this video. She was donated to the North Carolina Transportation Museum in 1980 and has been operating regularly here ever since.
