Micropress have ordered their latest press to include the new HEIDELBERG highlights seen at DRUPA, which further assist the Push to Stop technology to make the makeready times even faster. This new installation was a UK first. The new DRUPA 2024 Speedmaster XL 106-8P was installed with HEIDELBERG’s new Inspection Control System and the latest Plate logistics system, Plate to Unit. Micropress has undertaken a £5 million investment programme over the last 12 months, including a factory extension and investment in new equipment. Joint Managing Directors James and Robert Cross returned to HEIDELBERG. In this latest round of investment, the brothers replaced their older Versafire CP with the newest Versafire 115 LP, which included the latest HEIDELBERG Digital Front End Operating system. This was quickly followed by a full upgrade to their current workflow to a new HEIDELBERG Prinect Production Manager Workflow.
