When most people think of a pencil eraser, what comes to mind in the familiar pink rectangular eraser with the beveled edges. This is the eraser many of us grew up with - they were standard issue in elementary schools across the USA. Since I'm a pencil geek from way back, I know there are many other eraser options beyond the traditional pink block, but I still find a certain comfort in having a pink eraser in my pencil box. Maybe it's a little nostalgia, but maybe some pink erasers actually do a decent job in removing the graphite from the page.
