Not long ago a viewer brought me an Acura TL to put an engine in. From the moment I saw it, I realized this car was unloved. I could tell just by the stance and the tires it had been used and abused. Now, I’m not saying you have to baby all vehicles, in fact, with sports cars, it’s almost impossible not to drive them in a ‘spirited’ manner, but at the end of the day you still need to change the oil and maintain it. This is where this discussion comes in. For me, when I get a vehicle like this in the shop, I find myself not making the same effort as I would with a customer that took better care of their vehicle. I’m not saying I don’t try to do good work, I’m saying that I don’t go the extra mile like I would on a vehicle that was better maintained. What do you think? Am I wrong in this approach? What would you do? Intro music by Eric Cook "ETCG1 Intro". Thanks for watching! Related Videos TL Engine Replacement (Part 1): • 2004 Acura 3.2L TL Engine Replacement...
