Abstract: Finding evidence of primordial parity violation would have profound implications for our understanding of early Universe physics and would greatly inform our models of inflation. Probing cosmological parity violation requires, at minimum, measuring the four-point statistics or trispectrum of the density field, which presents many challenges. In this talk, I will present a class of compressed estimators for cosmological signatures of parity violation. These estimators allow the parity violating signal to be expressed as a cross power spectrum between a vector and a pseudo-vector field, which corresponds to a weighted, angular average over the parity odd trispectum. These are much faster to implement and easier to analyze compared with the full four-point statistics. We demonstrate that the amplitude of parity violation can be extracted from mocks generated from templates of primordial parity violation. We also provide theoretical calculations for our compressed estimators, which reproduce the numerical simulation results.
