An informative lecture on Shaheed Murtadha Mutahhari (RA) by Sayyid Abbas Ayleya (HA). Having accomplished the preliminaries, he departed for the Qom Seminary to take advantage of the presence of such grand teachers as Ayatollah Boroujerdi, Allameh Tabatabaee, and Imam Khomeini. Besides acquiring different sciences, he was engaged in self-purification during his years in Qom so as he achieved an unmatched clairvoyance, sagacity, and scientific accuracy. With the launch of the Iranian Islamic movement in 1963, Martyr Motahari strenuously joined the revolutionaries so as he was apprehended and imprisoned by SAVAK on June 5, 1963. He continued his revolutionary activities after release and did all his best to organize Muslim combatant forces and keep the movement away from harm and distortion. During these years, he engaged in explaining the Islamic culture in the society, but he was re-apprehended by SAVAK and then banned from public speech in 1972.
