Sonic is back to save the world! Hello everyone, and welcome to Chapter 58 of the Tome of Silver. The show where I randomly select a game from my collection, review it, and add it to an ever-growing ranking list. Fans of 2D Sonic were in a weird place in the year 2000. Sega was no longer in the console scene, and Sonic games were continuing to push the blue blur into 3D adventures, leaving 2D fans feeling left out. Thankfully, once Sonic found his new home on Nintendo hardware, Sega would create a portable 2D trilogy for the Game Boy Advance. And these games were a treat, each providing fun and frantic platforming and something that made each entry feel special from the others. We'll be looking at all three today, as well as Sonic Pinball Party, a GBA pinball game that was later bundled with Sonic Advance. Let's turn the page to the Sonic Advance Trilogy, plus Pinball, for the Game Boy Advance.
