In this video we take a look at 2 sets of battles in Season 6 of the Pokemon GO Battle League (GBL) in the Great League. Want me to showcase your battles on the channel? These 2 sets feature the final battles before hitting Legend Rank, and his first set after as Legend. Huge shoutout to Leorick513 for reaching Legend for the first time and also for making the global leaderboard! He mentions that watching my videos helped him out so I am grateful for that. The team he is running is one that features some very meta Pokemon, but also 3 Pokemon which should be accessible to most players. The team consists of an Azumarill lead, running Play Rough and Ice Beam without Hydro Pump. It also features Hypno operating as a safe-switch with Thunder Punch and Focus Blast which often times will go unshielded. And finally Alolan Marowak closing out the line with Fire Spin, Bone Club and the legacy move Shadow Bone which was recently 'nerfed'. In theory, this is a very anti-Grasshole team. I believe these battles actually take place just before the move rebalance but the pvpoke simulations provided in the video reflect the current day simulations with updated move rebalancing applied. Overall this seems like a very solid team that struggles a bit against Ghost, but has some very solid coverage otherwise with 9 unique types across the 9 different moves.
