First up, the CMF Phone 1 is incredible value at around £200 in the UK. You get a customisable design and strong specs, although the camera lacks OIS and there's no NFC. Another one of the best budget phones for 2025 is that Nothing Phone 3a. This literally flashy smartphone has a bargain price tag, respectable gaming chops, decent battery life and full glyph lighting smarts. Don't sleep on the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G either, which is now cheaper than ever thanks to the Samsung A56 being released. Otherwise budget phone fans should check out the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, which has an awful name but solid hardware and software. Many of these best budget smartphones in 2025 can run games like Genshin Impact (albeit on low graphics) or at least Call of Duty and PubG. The likes of the Poco X6 and Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G also offer long battery life, while the latter is water resistant. And if you're tempted by a more stock Android phone experience, check out Motorola's Edge 50 Fusion, G85 and G35. Or if you only have £100, the G05 will just about suffice!
