We went to Mart Cemetery outside of Waco, Texas, to look for Lamar Fike's grave! We found a LOT of Fikes and eventually found Larmar! The sound volume is a little low on this video (so about that!). You may have to turn it up a little. Note: Lamar's marker is a little confusing to some people. There is an extra stone that acknowledges a group of people under the title "Band of Brothers", these are friends he wanted to single out for special appreciation. At the bottom of this marker, an inscription reads: "The Memphis Mafia." Some read this as referring to the names above. However, it is meant as a separate acknowledgment referring to his fellow members of Elvis's famous entourage. To confuse things further, Marty Lacker, a known member of the Memphis Mafia, appears in the names at the top of the marker. It seems Lamar was simply singling Marty out for specific mention as a member of his "Band of Brothers."
