Building a log cabin alone poses a significant challenge, especially when it comes to lifting and moving large trees. I pondered various options for a crane and ended up with something like this. I'm not sure if it's the best choice, but at least it works. Where did all this begin; As a little boy, I watched my grandfather build a small log cabin. I remember admiring my grandfather's craftsmanship and thinking that someday I too want to make a log cabin. I dreamed of building a cabin for 20 years, until the opportunity came to buy an old cabin far away in the wilderness. My family and I bought a log cabin and I finally got to fulfill my dream and build a sauna cabin in the yard of the cabin.
