Unleash your musical creativity with GeoShred Studio, a desktop AUV3 plugin that brings Geoshred's acclaimed expressive physical modeling instrument to your DAW. Hey everybody, Jordan Rudess here. A lot of you know that I've had a really really cool app called GeoShred out. We are moving this to the desktop GeoShred Studio. GeoShred is a new kind of musical instrument. It's fluidly expressive. It has a performance surface with almost magic pitch rounding. and it's coupled with physics-based models of effects and musical instruments. GeoShred runs on iOS devices, but what if it could be a plug-in for your desktop DAW? And what if you could still use GeoShred on your iPad or iPhone to seamlessly perform GeoShred as a part of your desktop production workflow? While GeoShred for iOS and iPad OS focuses on live performance, GeoShred Studio is designed for desktop scoring and composition utilizing physically modeled instruments and multiple AUV3 instances. Geoshred Connect is used to create a MIDI MP connection between GeoShred on your iOS or iPad OS device and GeoShred Studio. As a part of your normal production workflow, you can use GeoShred's expressive multi-dimensional control from your iOS device to record your tracks as MIDI MPE, which can be edited as part of your production process. iCloud is used to synchronize preset edits between the iOS and MacOSS versions of GeoShred. In this example, the preset is saved in the iPad OS version of GeoShred and synchronizes to GeoShred Studio. It comes equipped with a guitar physical model and 22 modeled effects. Plus, you can expand your musical pallet with 33 additional physically modeled instruments from around the world. Each instrument is like an app unto its own. These instruments are available as in-app purchases from the built-in GeoShred store. GeoShred Studio is best performed expressively from GeoShreds isomorphic keyboard. And if you don't own GeoShred for iPad or iPhone, you can download the free GeoShred control MP controller to use with GeoShred Studio. That being said, you can perform Geosred Studio with an NP controller from a conventional MIDI controller or a breath controller. There's this great awareness that we can do this organic realistic instruments. So the beauty of that is you're sitting in your studio and you can create a quartet, you can create a string quartet, you can do something with the brass, with the woodwinds, with ethnic instruments. When I'm in my studio with my palette of colors, I feel like a painter who just has infinite colors to splash onto this canvas, which is my musical orchestration. And now with GeoShred Studio as part of that, I can like splash on the canvas all these realistic instruments and have the kind of control I want to kind of up my musical game and my musical expression in that environment.
