The progress on the farm is going smoothly. I wish I could unlock more animals but I suppose that will come in time. I do however unlock two new shops in town. The farmhands union and the event shack. The farmhands union allows me to hire farmhands to help tend the fields. The catch is, I need ribbons and I believe I need to reorganize the fields a bit in order for them to work properly.
