⚔️ ESO Healer Companion Setup Guide | Isobel Veloise & Sharp-as-Night 🐊✨ In this video, I walk through how I have my two healer companions set up in The Elder Scrolls Online — covering their gear, skills, and why I chose them for the healer role. These are my personal suggestions and a guideline for how I set mine up, not a rigid ruleset — feel free to adapt what works for you! 🛡️ 🌟 WHY ISOBEL VELOISE & SHARP-AS-NIGHT? Isobel Veloise is a Breton Templar companion (unlocked in the High Isle Chapter) who is widely regarded as one of the most versatile companions in the game. I originally had her set up as a tank — and she excels at that too — but I transitioned her to a healer role to fill that gap in my lineup. Sharp-as-Night is an Argonian Warden companion (unlocked in the Necrom Chapter) whose racial passives include increased Physical and Spell Resistance as well as increased healing done, making him a natural fit as a healer as well. ⚙️ GEAR SETUP — LIGHT QUICKENED I recommend running all light armor with the Quickened trait on your healer companions. Light armor gives a 7% increase to healing done and a break free every 7 seconds. The Quickened trait reduces ability cooldowns, which is key to keeping heals running as close to 100% uptime as possible. Isobel is my most geared companion — she has all purple Quickened gear plus one gold Quickened piece (obtained during the High Isle event), giving a significant cooldown reduction overall. Sharp-as-Night is still working toward full purple gear, so his uptimes are slightly lower but will improve as his gear does. 🔮 ISOBEL’S SKILL SETUP Skill 1 — Rejuvenation: A heal over time that mimics Radiating Regeneration. 8-second duration with a 7.8-second cooldown = 100% uptime. Skill 2 — Beam of Reproach: Deals magic damage and heals nearby allies — similar to Power of Light. 8-second duration, 7.8-second cooldown = 100% uptime. Skill 3 — Healing Ground (Holy Ground): Heals allies in the ring and snares enemies by 50%. 8-second duration, ~10.5-second cooldown — only down about 2.5 seconds between casts. Skill 4 — Blessed Sacrament: A burst heal + additional heal every 2 seconds, triggered when you or Isobel drop below 75% health. 5.2-second cooldown with an 8-second duration = 100% uptime. Skill 5 — Mending Incantation (Restoration Staff line): A burst heal that also grants 7,000 Physical and Spell Resistance. The resistance cap is 33,000, so this can be a meaningful contribution depending on your own build. Cooldown ~10.5 seconds. 🐊 SHARP-AS-NIGHT’S SKILL SETUP Skill 1 — Rejuvenation: Same heal over time as Isobel’s but with a slightly extended cooldown (8.4 seconds vs. 8-second duration) due to his gear not yet being fully optimized — very close to 100% uptime. Skill 2 — Major Resolve (group-wide): A great skill if you’re bringing Sharp into your adventures. Grants Major Resolve to the group. 6-second duration, 5.6-second cooldown = 100% uptime even accounting for cast time. Skill 3 — Perennial Bloom (Budding Seeds companion version): An 8-second duration with an 8.4-second cooldown — nearly 100% uptime. Activates when you or Sharp drop below 75% health. Heals every 2 seconds for 8 seconds. Skill 4 — Petals of the Hunter: Makes Sharp’s light attacks heal himself and up to 2 nearby allies. 8-second duration, 11.3-second cooldown — approximately 75% uptime, but a very solid heal. Skill 5 — Fungal Forage (Mushroom morph): A burst heal — heals more the closer you are to Sharp.
