Jaguar X-type fault code P0222 Throttle position sensor

I had this pop up a wile back, Looked into it and grabbed a fresh jubilee clip for once I removed the origanl clip. I tried cleaning the throttle body even tho Jag say not to and as for the clip I got the old one off OK and it went back on fine. No joy with the error so I got a new TPS of ebay not a genuine part but it gave an engine fault error, so I sent that back. Then I got a second hand throttle body of ebay only £20. I was reading jag forums ready checking for anything I should need to know and noticed a lot of time even Jag dealers failed to install the throttle bodies right and sounded like air leak and I would have ever said that band clip was tight. So I popped down and just changed the clip and so far no more P0222. I have fired it up a few times now and short drives only so fingers crossed.
