Drunk Woman Hits Another Car While Driving at 3 Times the Legal Limit

On August 31, 2025, Las Cruces Police Officers responded to a traffic collision. The at-fault driver was a 33-year-old woman who claims she was attempting to leave the drive-thru line at Jack-In-The-Box because it was too long. She ended up striking another vehicle, causing minor damage. Officer Hernandez-Reyna states in his police report that he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the woman, so he inquired about her alcohol consumption. She admitted consuming alcohol earlier in the evening, so she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. After the tests, the woman was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence. At the Las Cruces police station, she provided 2 breath samples, which registered 0.22% and 0.24% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. The outcome is unknown due to the case not being found in the New Mexico Court online system.
