These Rokinon cinema lenses are fast, high quality lenses perfect for low-budget filmmakers and cinematographers. The Rokinon lenses have color matched optics and uniform focus and iris gears. Most Rokinon Cine Prime lenses will cover 35mm Full Frame (14mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm) and Super35 and APSC (8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm). The Rokinon Cine Primes are available in a variety of Mount Options: Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Micro 4/3, and Fuji X. The "DS" stands for "Dual Scale", which means there is a smart and dumb side scale for operating the lens from either side of the camera. The focus and iris gears have been moved to a standard position in order to maintain a consistent position from one lens to another. This makes it easier to swap lenses when using a follow focus or focus motor. Also, each of the DS lens are color matched for consistent look through the set of lenses. Note: These primes lenses were originally designed for manual focus photography by Samyang, then release under Rokinon in the US.
