This show was taped by the same person who taped the Jazz Tour concert in Chicago as Rosemont is a suburb of the "Windy City". The Horizon was opened in May 1980 and due to its bigger capacity the band probably chose to switch to this venue rather than play at the Chicago Stadium again. Since the acoustics were quite dreadful (as Brian openly states before "Love of My Life" which gets him a roar of approval by the audience), the band didn't return on their following tour in 1982, playing in Hoffman Estates instead, another suburb of Chicago. While the setlist stays the same (as mentioned before, the band didn't have any songs on rotation in September), the band feel more focused tonight and play long renditions of "Play the Game", "Get Down, Make Love", the "Now I'm Here" medley (which now includes the guitar solo heard on the record) and an almost 11 minute long Instrumental Inferno. While Freddie sings a bit more conservatively tonight, he sounds more relaxed and confident compared to their shows in Milwaukee and St. Paul a few days ago. Snippets at this show: 'Johnny B.
