You’re watching part of a live seminar from https://www.DentTrainer.com where I introduce the latest PDR door tools I recommend for both beginners and seasoned technicians. If you want to see more live seminars, visit https://www.DentTrainer.com and join in. Let me make this clear: you will remove more dents on doors than any other panel, unless you’re a full-time hail tech. That’s why knowing which door tool to use and why it is critical. I’ve tested these tools every single day as a working PDR technician, not just a trainer, and I can tell you exactly how each one serves its purpose. 👍 Here’s a tech tip for beginners. Do not waste money on huge tool kits. More tools do not make you better; they make you sloppy, inefficient, and confused. The fastest way to grow as a PDR tech is by learning how to master fewer tools. Once you know how to maximize their capabilities, you’ll clearly see what you’re missing and know which additional tools are worth buying. My name is Myke Toledo. I’m a professional PDR trainer and technician who actually cares about your success in this industry. I’m not a sales rep pushing vacation deals or gimmicks, and I’m not a “school” churning out students who never make it in the real world. I train you in person or online to build real skill, the right habits, and the business knowledge to succeed. You’ll learn not only how to push dents cleanly but also how to market yourself and grow your company like never before. If you’re serious about becoming a successful PDR tech, the choice is simple. Learn from someone who lives it every day and who will get you where you want to go. https://denttime.com 1. How long does it take to learn paintless dent repair? In a proper 2–4 week training, you’ll start working on moderate to advanced dents and, more importantly, learn how to finish dents clean and read the reflection board accurately. That’s the foundation. After training, it’s about putting in consistent practice so you become efficient. Some reach that point in months, others may take a year. It all depends on your dedication. 2. Why does the trainer I choose matter so much? Dedication is on you, but the trainer sets your foundation. If you don’t start with the right framework, you’ll spend months unlearning bad habits. Be careful, many schools blame the student and hide behind the excuse that “it all depends on practice.” That’s a scapegoat for poor training. Good training gives you the fundamentals that actually make your practice time valuable. 3. Do I need to buy a full tool kit before training? No. A big kit doesn’t make you better, it makes you confused and inefficient. You only need a small set of core tools to learn how to push properly, finish clean, and read the reflection. Once you master that, you’ll know exactly which specialty tools you need, instead of wasting money upfront. 4. Can I really make a career out of PDR? Yes, but only if you treat it seriously. PDR rewards focus, consistency, and patience. With the right training, you’re not just learning how to fix dents.. you’re learning a trade that can build into a strong business. Most of my students go on to build full-time careers once they stay consistent with practice and apply the business strategies I teach. 5. What makes your PDR training different from others? I don’t run a school designed to fill seats. I train you personally, the same way I work as a daily technician. You’ll learn how to finish dents, control reflections, and build good habits from day one. On top of that, I show you how to market yourself so you succeed in business, not just behind the tool. 6. What is the hardest part about learning PDR? It is not just pushing a dent out. It is finishing it. Knowing how to clean the dent up, control pressure, and read the reflection board is what separates average techs from real professionals. That is why my training puts so much focus on finishing skills and reflection reading from the very start. Because of my years of daily PDR experience and training students at every level, I can quickly identify the challenges each student faces, whether you are brand new or a veteran with bad habits. A good trainer does not just point out mistakes. They explain why they happen so you can focus on building the right techniques instead of reinforcing the wrong ones.
