Today, we're going to take a look at the Infinite Rule stainless steel hitch lock for 2" hitches. This is a flush style hitch lock, which will secure your ball mount or accessory to your 2" hitch. It's heavy duty stainless steel construction. If you notice on the head of this lock, they have the grooves on it that makes it very easy to grab, to remove it. And on the inside internally of this, they have an o-ring which will protect the internal components from dirt and grime.I'm going to show you how the slot comes apart, and I'll show you that over in here in a minute. You can see on the outside, they have this nice rubber weather resistant tethered dust cover, which I'll keep water and debris out of the key way. Two keys are included. This part is made in the USA.And then just to show you how this comes apart is you just put your key in there and then you just unscrew it, like you're unscrewing a bolt. And then once you get far enough, the head will come right off. And then you got your two pieces ready to go. And here's the o-ring, that red o-ring I was mentioning to you that will help seal it and keep dirt and grime from out of the inside.Now, when you go to put this back on, you just line it up and then you just twist it like you're tightening the bolt back down. And once you get it tight enough, I went to mention there's four markings. Let me zoom in here so you can see if we zoom in. And you'll notice on the face of the lock here, they have four markings or indentations. 12 o'clock. Three o'clock, six o'clock, nine o'clock. Every quarter turn they have a little indentation. So when you get your key out, you just have to line the key up with one of those markings. So you get a tight and then just tighten a little bit more till it lines up and the key will pop right out. So to get the key out, you do have to line it up with one of those markings. And again, it's all locked. You're all ready to go.Again, the application on this is for 2" by 2" trailer hitch receivers. The sheer strength on this lock is 42,000 pounds. And the sheer strength is determined by placing this locking pin in the stress position, and then subjecting it to increasing force until a required load is either met or the pin fails. And again, this lock has a sheer strength of 42,000 pounds. The diameter on it is 5/8th of an inch.A few dimensions on this. The overall length, one end to the other is right at 5 1/4". The inside pin length or span is right at 2 5/8".But that should do it for the review on the Infinite Rule stainless steel hitch lock for 2" hitches..
