Residents of Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria, say they are still battling a massive water crisis despite numerous government interventions over the past few years. They say they've not had clean, clear water for more than a year. The refurbishment of the Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Works is currently underway. In the interim, temporary water supply measures have been implemented; however, due to a phased rollout, only a limited number of areas are receiving clean water.
