I found this bootleg on a forum and decided to upload it to youtube because it wasn't up here before. The picture was the best I could find. Only three tracks from this concert could be found on youtube; Night Passage (from the Weather Report "Legendary Live Tapes: 1978-1981" album - • Night Passage (Live) ), Port of Entry and Three Views Of A Secret (uploaded by Jaco's late 2nd wife, Ingrid Pastorius - • Weather Report "Port of Entry" - London - ... and • Three Views of A Secret which was Ingrid's last video before passing away a month later). This upload is still not the full concert. About 5 tracks are missing. I converted the original FLAC into mp3 for sake of storage space and easier uploading. I also boosted the bass and added a touch of high treble. Overall a good concert showcasing the band at its best moment. The song selection could have been better in my opinion but that doesn't take away from the musicianship heard here. Lineup: Joe Zawinul - Keyboards, Wayne Shorter - Sax, Jaco Pastorius - Bass, Peter Erskine - Drums, Robert Thomas Jr. - Percussion Tracklist: 1) Fast City 0:00 2) Madagascar 8:17 3) Dream Clock 26:20 4) Night Passage 36:33 5) Three Views of a Secret 46:40 6) Port of Entry 54:40 7) Bass Solo 1:04:10 8) Brown Street 1:16:26 Here's the notes from the original uploader: "Weather Report - Hammersmith Odeon, London 1980-11-14, Soundboard Re-seed (Jazamo Tweek Version - includes 4 Samples) In the gaggle of Weather Report shows posted recently, I thought I'd re-post this soundboard recorded in 1980 in London, and which is probably only 2/3 of the nights set, alas Incomplete. Still with excellent sound quality it's well worth the bytes, and the band just smokes! I have made a few tweaks (listed below) to improve the overall experience. All praise to the original seeder Mr Mags, and as always Your Comments are Appreciated!!! Original Mags Notes: SBD-?-Cdr from Trade-EAC-FLAC 8/2/2013 Notes: Original FLAC - Tweaks - Re-align Sector Boundries - Flac - Check Decode - Traders little Helper Jazamo Tweaks: long silence before cut-in on track-1 and removed approx 7 seconds of dead air. Pre-recorded Orchestral "Show Intro" cut-in on track-1 so I added Faded-in to smooth intro (listen to sample). On track-7 for unknown reasons the volume was very low for the first 6 minutes of Jaco's solo so I increased the volume (+12db), and then increased volume another +1.5 db overall. Removed 22 seconds of silence at the beginning of track-7. Increased volume on track-5 (+2db) & track-8 (+3db). At the end of the song on track-8 removed mic bump and faded out deleting 9 seconds of the track length. Re-named all tracks. Jazamo Notes: Audience is not mic'd, and barely audible throughout which gives this set an In-Studio sound. Additionally there is no banter. Jaco performs one of his best solo's ever on track-7 including "Blackbird", "Purple Haze", & "Them Changes" vamps. There have been 3 uploads of this show in Dime each time adding 2 songs, the dates vary as either November 14th or 16th 1980. Hopefully the complete set will see the light of day someday soon. This is an excellent sounding show, and (get this) not one track appears on the commercially released "Live & Unreleased" CD. A compilation which cut into 3 Weather Report soundboard boots in circulation upon it's release... Jazamo August 2013"
