Whenever I sing this song by Radiohead, I am pondering on the notion of being weird. Especially since traveling and meeting a lot of people, sometimes I just feel like there is no group of people that I really feel I could belong to. Maybe some of you can resonate with this. Our path can get a little lonely at times, for those of us who don’t bend themselves to fit into societal norms and norms expectations. We have the ability to adapt to our current and a variety of environments, but most content we are, when we are by ourselves or with people that know how to appreciate and even share a mutual type of weirdness perhaps :)) I think of how the general public views weirdness. And too often, there is a negative connotation towards the term - But do people even know what that really means? It is to be something supernatural; unearthly. And in essence, aren’t we all exactly that? Supernatural, unearthly a sheer miracle transformed into matter for a brief moment in time within one whole strange experience? WEIRD in so many different, unique ways? And if anyone claims to be not Then is that not a complete denial of a part of who they are as a Being? What I want to say today is: STAY WEIRD, my friends.
