The North Coast 500 is described as Scotland's answer to Route 66. It's a scenic route of just over 500 miles (800km) following the coast around the far north of mainland Scotland, starting and finishing at Inverness Castle. The A835 is an important route in the Scottish Highlands, running for 66 miles (107km) from the A837 at Ledmore to the A9 at Tore, linking the port town of Ullapool on the West Coast to Inverness on the East, without single-track road sections. This video shows a largely east-bound journey along the A835, from the A834 junction Contin to the junction with the A832 at Moy Bridge alongside the River Conon.
