Built by George Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895, this Châteauesque-style mansion is the largest privately owned house in the United States. Still owned by descendants of George Vanderbilt II, the home remains one of the finest and most prominent examples of the Gilded Age. We see priceless antiques and works of art from the masters such Claude Monet and Renoir. You won't believe the beauty and elegance of the library, bedrooms, grand banquet hall, and more.
