MIDI controlled pedalboard and ampless guitar rig

I have been dreaming about MIDI controlled pedalboard and ampless guitar rig that makes it easy to mix and match physical and virtual pedals and gears, and experiment with different setups and tones. Let’s try to build something like that! For MIDI controllers I’m using Line 6 FBV 3 to control effect loops and DAW presets, and AKAI LPD8 to control virtual effects and units. For USB-MIDI hub I’m using DOREMiDi MES-8 MIDI effects switcher that is able to switch effect loops via MIDI commands, connects to USB devices, and also delivers MIDI commands to DAW. For USB audio interface I used Scarlett 2i2 4th gen I also built a quick DIY pedalboard to keep my pedals in order. I used BOSS solderess patch cables there. For the demo song in the end of the video (The Final Cut - The Final Cut) I used MXR Dyna Comp, EHX Ram’s head Big Muff and Moore E-lady flanger. From Amplitube5 I used Hiwatt DR103 clone with matching cab + Leslie rotary cabinet to mimic Yamaha RA200. #pedalboard #midi #amplitube5 #guitar
