Noisy Street Hike to Sensoji (Asakusa Kannon Temple) in Tokyo

Much more travel content on Insta: @IM_OKAY_MOM_TRAVEL No narration. Just the occasional sigh of frustration when someone cuts in front of me and immediately stops moving. Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, and the surrounding street market. Great mochi and other dainty bits to eat along the way, and lots of beautiful Japanese women parading around in rented kimonos. Also some foreigners in rented kimonos, and they mostly look pretty good, too. Senso-ji is supposed to be the oldest Temple in Japan, and is grand in scale. It is the temple of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Sho Kanzeon Bosatsu), who embodies the mercy of all Buddhas, so hopefully that means I'll be forgiven if the video isn't great. Still rehabbing that leg. Doing pretty well, but one day in Tokyo can yield 30-40k steps. After doing Asakusa and Shinjuku in the same day, my leg was swollen up badly until I took a rest at the spa in Odawara. I'll post videos of that amazing place soon.
