I share my experience step by step — from my pre-surgery examination, to meeting my roommate and other patients, enjoying a genuinely great meal, and taking a bit of time to explore the hospital. I’m staying at the Shouldice Hernia Hospital, a one-of-a-kind facility known for its specialized approach to hernia repair and recovery. So far, the experience has been very positive, and heading into surgery tomorrow, I’m feeling calm, informed, and genuinely optimistic about both the procedure and the recovery process.
