An awesome bird's eye view of the large 100,430 ton Atlantic Container Line (ACL) CONRO vessel ATLANTIC STAR passing under the A Murray MacKay Bridge as she arrives at the Port of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on a sunny afternoon. The nearly 300 meter long ATLANTIC STAR is arriving direct from Liverpool, England and is being assisted to her birth at the Fairview Cove Container Terminal (Ceres) by the tug ATLANTIC BEAR. Built in 2015, the ATLANTIC STAR was the first of five new G4 class Container/Ro-Ro (CONRO) vessels that visit the port. ACL makes two calls a week to Halifax, an inbound call and outbound call. The vessel will be off loading both containers and vehicles at the Ceres Terminal.
