The Overmind is now fully recovered from the attack that killed Zasz. The Dark Templar are a new, formidable enemy that the Zerg never faced before; as they irradiate similar energy to that emitted by the Overmind, allowing them to damage it directly. Nevertheless, there was a key compensation for Zasz's loss; the assassination put the minds of the Overmind and Zasz's murderer, Dark Templar Zeratul, in contact. This brief contact revealed to the Overmind the secret location of the Protoss Homeworld of Aiur. But before launching a full-scale invasion on that distant planet, the Zerg must make sure that the Dark Templar won't be causing more trouble. The player Cerebrate was assigned to hunt down as many Dark Templar and any other Protoss standing with them on Char, with Kerrigan's help. Will the Zerg get rid of these new enemies for good?
